We bid farewell to Giuseppe Ruffolo of Syracuse, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2024 at the age of 93. Giuseppe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Ruffolo and Angelina Ruffolo; and his siblings, Lena Muoio and Gigino Ruffolo of Italy. He is survived by: his wife Assunta Ruffolo (DeStefano); his daughters, Angelina Porrino (Tino) of Liverpool and Barbara Kraus (Martin) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Suzanne Kraus of Seattle, Thomas Kraus (Caitlin) of Manlius, Daniel Kraus (Michael Clemente) of Camillus, Lauren Lewis (Cory) of Liverpool, Alyssa Parsley (Robert) of Liverpool and Emile Kraus of Syracuse; his great grandchildren, Logan, Rowan Kraus of Manlius, Landyn and Rylee Lewis of Liverpool; and his brother Vincenzo Ruffolo (Maria) of Italy. He is also survived by his sisters – in – law and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Pompei - St. Peter Church (301 Ash St, Syracuse, NY 13208). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In keeping with Giuseppe's wishes, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
