He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Failla and Josephine Failla (Caronna). He is survived by: his wife Raffaela Failla (Barbuto); his children, Josephine Stephenson (Chris) of Manlius, Sam (Cherise) of Fayetteville and Michael of North Syracuse; his grandchildren, Alex, Gio, Ella, Elena and Nicholas; his brother Antonino Failla; and his sister-in-law Caterina Failla. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
