She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Matrone and Francesca Matrone (Daniel); and her son David. She is survived by: her children, James (Vicki), John, Mary Jackson (Carlton), Carol Hunter (Jesse) and Donna Mercier (John); her grandchildren, Melissa Daulton (Tyler), Rebecca, Christina and Jay Hunter; her sister Yolanda Skinner; and her children, Boy Scouting and Lyncourt Little League. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces & nephews.

“To my sister Gilda's children. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. It was a shock after having such a lovely 90th birthday party for her. I'm so happy that she was able to see many of her family and friends before our Lord took her to his home. No more pain, only peace. God bless you my sweet sister, I will miss you terribly.”
