Georgia Mae Turner Murphy Obituary
Georgia Mae Turner Murphy, 75, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 after a brief but hard-fought battle with leukemia. Despite her illness Georgia's vibrant personality and love for others always shined through. She was blessed to spend her final days in New York City in the loving company of her daughter, Kellyta Reives, son-in-law, John Reives and granddaughter Kya Reives.
She is also survived by sisters, Lorraine Eure and Virginia Pierce and brother Leon Turner (Diane). Calling hours will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 149 Beattie St., on Tuesday September 26, 10AM-12PM, services immediately following. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
