He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Gelsomin and Filomena Westermeier. He is survived by: his spouse Lena Spinelli; his brother James V.; his children, Linda Hafner, Chuck Hafner, Ann Marie, Robert Garrick, Janet Hughes, George T. Gelsomin, Alicia Gelsomin and Thomas J. Gelsomin; and his grandchildren, Kristin Graf (Bradshaw), Jess Hafner, Ryan Pacquette (Hafner), Jill Garrick, Taryn Hulsiek (Hafner), Amanda Hughes, Kelly DeGroot (Garrick), Emily Gelsomin, Adam Hughes, Major Matt Garrick, Ashley Gelsomin (Frakes) and Eric Gelsomin.
