He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Froehlich and Julius Froehlich; his son Laurence Froehlich; and his brother Walter Froehlich. He is survived by: his children, Georgine Scharff (Joel) and Philip Froehlich (Frances); and his grandchildren, Ilana Lipman (Matthew), Jason Froehlich (Jaime), Joshua Scharff (Jenna), Robin Froehlich, Stephen Froehlich, Justin Binder and Michael Froehlich.
