Sylvester (Syracuse, New York), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sylvester and Florence Walwrath Sylvester; his wife Anna; and his siblings, Jack Sylvester, Delores Checkosky and Mary Carmen.
He is survived by: his friend Sue Fenton; his sons, Jim (Linda) of Jacksonville, Bill (Linda) of Taylorsville, Tom (Karen) of Rush and Dan; and his brother Bob (Joanne) of Syracuse. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be sent to Hospice of CNY.
