He was predeceased by: his parent Ferdinando Carranti; and his brother Pio Carranti. He is survived by: his parent Urselina Carranti; his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Carranti (Zelazny); his children, Teresa R. Downs (Thomas) of Massachusetts, Louise M. O'Hara (Michael) of Syracuse and David J. Carranti (Donna) of Lysander; his grandchildren, Dustin, Taylor, Shane, Megan, Alex and Celina; and his great grandchild Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
