He was predeceased by: his wife Meta Reschke; his siblings, Marie Reschke, Margaret Leo, Caroline Leo, Genevieve Piper, Alma Heck, John Reschke and Paul Reschke; his niece Gretchen Leo; and his nephews, Robert Leo and Christopher Piper. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
