With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Peter Cahalan (Syracuse, New York), born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on January 3, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luke G. Cahalan and Rose Cahalan (Halpin); his brothers, Michael Cahalan, James Cahalan and William Cahalan; his sisters-in-law, Elaine Cahalan and Julie Cahalan; his wife Dolores P. Cahalan (Orlowski); his children, Mary Monashefsky (Gregory), Diane DeLuca (Kurt), Amy Knight (Thomas) and Robert Cahalan (Patricia); his grandchildren, Michael, Katherine, Alexandra, Jack Monashefsky, Joseph, Janee DeLuca, Shannon, Lauren, Anna Cahalan, Daniel, Georgia and Jillian Knight; his siblings, John L. Cahalan and Mary Rose Cahalan; and his sister-in-law Barbara Stack. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
