He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy Ferris; his daughter Hazel Ferris; and his brother Stanley Ferris. He is survived by: his son Francis E. Ferris III (Tracy) of Crimora, VA; his stepson Robert Wilber (DiShee Swanagan) of Syracuse; and his siblings, Wayne Ferris (Sally) of Phoenix, NY, John Ferris of Phoenix, NY, Shawn Ferris, Jacqueline Jones of West Monroe, NY and Judy Bonanni of Brewerton, NY. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. (1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13208).
