Florence Ribas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Ribas of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Vera McCarthy (Charles) of Syracuse, NY and Manuel Ribas (Joseph Ingerman) of Sarasota, FL.; her sister Joanne "Totsy" Notcher (Fran) of Camillus, NY.; her grandchildren, Kim Harding (Brian), Stacey Awad (Jamie), Todd McCarthy (Rachel) and Meghan Brenon (Jeff); her husband Anthony "Tony" Ribas; her brothers, Vincent and Anthony Caracci; and her parents, Vincent Caracci and Rose Caracci. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
Gifts in lieu of flowers may be made in Florence's memory to Ronald McDonald House of CNY (https://rmhcny.org) where Florence was a longstanding, committed volunteer chef who cooked meals for temporary family residents of people, including children, receiving treatment.
