It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Filomena (Merola) Madonna (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Merola and Antoinette Merola; her husband Domenico Madonna; her son Lorenzo Madonna; and her brothers, Michael and John Merola.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Petrillo (Michael), Antoinette Ware (David) and Ralph Madonna (Sandra); her grandchildren, David, Lorenzo and Annalise; her siblings, Salvatore Merola (Clementine) and Josephine Ferraro (Salvatore); and her sister-in-law Anna Merola. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (301 Ash St, Syracuse, NY 13208). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
