It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mae Axelson (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; her son Jim; and her great grandchild Elizabeth. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane "DeeDee" Miller (Ken) and Lynn Barry (Tom); and her daughter-in-law Janie. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren.

Her final two years after a fall in her apartment brought her to Elderwood at Liverpool during Pandemic times and not only did she survive, she thrived, often helping the staff with other residents.
