Eleanor Helen Hunt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Helen Hunt of Syracuse, New York, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther V. Barnett and Lloyd M. Barnett; and her former husband Richard Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Vicki O'Neill (Patrick) of Syracuse, Diane Butler (Keith) of Syracuse, Joyce Flynn (Sean) of Marcellus and Paul Hunt (Barbara) of Baldwinsville; and her friend Susan Turverey of Syracuse. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York and Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088 or to Griffin's Guardians, P.O. Box 1661, Cicero, NY 13039, which is a local non-profit organization that assists CNY pediatric cancer patients and their families.
