The memory of Elaine A. Hollis in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack (Jack); her siblings, Milton, Robert Aubrey and Kathryn Van Ornum; her grandson Robert Powers; and her parents, Ernest Aubrey and Stella Aubrey (Favro).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Hollis (Marsha), Andrew Hollis (Karri) of Ogdensburg, NY, Peg Powers (John) and Mary Lou Tebo (Mike) of Liverpool, NY; and her grandchildren, Jackie Cutwa (Bart), Marty Bice (Hattie), Shannon Brazill (Andrew), Tom Powers (Emily Voegler), Trisha Hornick (Ryan), Jay Tebo (Lauren), Ian Tebo (Carissa), Jesse, Aleaha, Drew and Ryan Hollis. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cathedral (415 Hamilton St, Ogdensburg, NY 13669). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
