Loftus of Syracuse; his children, Moira C. Dick of Syracuse, Michelle M. Loftus of Syracuse, Brian P. (Susy) of Elgin and Michael E. (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Gabriel and Jillian of Henrietta, NY.; his brothers, J. David of Sandy and Michael (Jean) of Syracuse; and his former wife Maureen Gaynor Loftus.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
