He was predeceased by: his parent Ralph Abbey; his son Dale; and his brother-in-law Harold Gardner. He is survived by: his parent Jennie Abbey; his children, Dean W. Abbey and Crystal L. Abbey; his grandchildren, Joshua Eberle (Bethany) and Jenna Abbey; his great grandchildren, Jakobi and Rowan; and his sister Arlene Gardner of Onondaga Hill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
