Douglas Ehlinger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Ehlinger of Syracuse, New York, born in Higganum, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ehlinger and Helen Ehlinger; his sister Linda Chowdhry; and his grandson Ryan Douglas MacCaull. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ehlinger (DelVecchio); his children, Elizabeth Mahar (Patrick), Amy MacCaull (Scott) and Matthew Ehlinger (Emily); his grandchildren, Liam, Owen Mahar, Kendra, Kyle MacCaull, Douglas and Arthur Ehlinger; and his sisters, Dale Guthrie and Sandra Ehlinger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Charles/St. Ann's Food Pantry.
