It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea Scholl of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothea Scholl to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Masters and Sellwood; her husband Frederick L. Scholl; and her siblings, Shirley Tart, Sally Macko (Mike), Barbara Reese, David and John Masters.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Scholl Meador of Syracuse and David F. Scholl (Patricia Knight Scholl) of North Syracuse; her siblings, Beverly Phillips (Thomas Phillips) of Camillus and Robert McCorry of Clearwater, FL.; her grandchildren, Christopher Hamilton (Hannah Rose), Ryan Scholl, Nick Meador, Tyler Scholl (Amber Juhl), Kierstin Scholl and Tim Scholl; and her great grandchildren, Avigail, Kaylee, Teighlor, Lucas and McKensie.

Please note, if you are not vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask in both the funeral home and in the chapel.
