He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Nichols and Mary T. Nichols; and his brother Robert W. Nichols. He is survived by: his sisters, Margo Groskin (Stuart) of Fayetteville and Mary Dee (Douglas Seidner) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
