He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Scanlon and Marie Scanlon; and his sister Joanne Sheppard. He is survived by: his wife Janine; his children, Mark (Ann Birdlebough) of Syracuse, Nancy of Syracuse, Margret of Charleston, SC and Marcia (Patrick Hohl) of Syracuse; his siblings, Margaret Hall of Maitland, FL and John Scanlon (Mary) of Seneca Falls; and his grandchildren, Carolyn Volpe (Joseph), John Scanlon, Brandon, Morgan and Bridget Hohl.
