He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Newell and Martha Newell; his wife Helen Crysler Newell; his children, Donna Sovocool (Fred) of Moravia, John Newell (Lea) of Niles and Dale Newell (Missy) of Marietta; and his grandchildren, Greg Porter (Cara) of Parish, Andy Porter (Pam) of Durham, NC, Amy Weeks (Michael) of Moravia, Doug Porter (Ashley) of Niles and Donald Newell (Sara).
