It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Edward Overway of Syracuse, New York, born in Mount Vernon, Washington, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Overway and Virginia Overway (Weaver). He is survived by: his sister Margaret Gunderson (Gerald) of Simsbury, CT; his nephew David Gunderson (Kimberly) of Dallas, TX; his niece Laura Oliver (James); his great-nieces, Riley Gunderson and Brynna Oliver; and his great-nephew Jace Gunderson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many friends.

“Don was a great guy, who always had a smile on his face and always had a positive attitude. I grew up on the Market and met Don when he started coming to the market years ago. We sold right next to him for years and when we moved our stall he would stop and say morning or I would stop over to his stall. He will be greatly missed!! Our condolences go out to his family and friends. Pat Ponto and all of us at Ponto's Greenhouses!!”
