Donald C. Holtsbery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald C. Holtsbery of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, DeRaine Zimmerman and Helyn Zimmerman; his siblings, Jon Holtsbery, Robert Kent and Mary Lynn Raiti; and his close friend Marcia Stassi.
He is survived by: his son Michael (Candace) of Liverpool; his brother Richard (Betty) of Boston, MA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hemmerlein (Edward) and Michael Walter (Catarina). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
