He is survived by: his grandparent Ardonia Spann; his brother Proteus Earl; his aunts and uncles, Lawrence (Julie), Robert, Ronnie Spann, Pearlie President, Pernell Glover (Sammie), Ruth Spann and Gloria Bailey (Albert); and his cousin Vertell Brantley (Earl). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
