It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Constantine Karafilopulos of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Karafilopulos and Dora Karafilopulos; and also, James Yovonovich, Christine, Ara Saxenian, Sophie, Bill McPhail and Gene Pyle.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Yovonovich); his daughter Sharon Murphy (Roy Ervay); his grandchildren, Christine Fischer (Scott) and Michael Murphy; his sister-in-law Rose Pyle; and his nieces and nephews, Linda, Gary, Marge and Gus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Contributions may be made in Gus's name to St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church.
