He is survived by: his parents, Edward L. Simson and Ina M. Teeman Simson; and his siblings, Marian Louk of Irondequoit, Meredith Croucher (Dean) of Newark, John Simson of Syracuse, Jay Simson (Lynn) of Van Wert, Fred Simson of San Diego, Charles Simson (Libby) of Verona and Edward "Boon" Simson (Eileen) of Chandler, Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
