Elder (Syracuse, New York), born in Booneville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph J. Elder; her parents, Irene McGaha and Troy McGaha; and her siblings, Cora D. Sorrell' and Robert McGaha.
She is survived by: her son Dondi L. Elder; her sister Margie Faye White; her children, Michael, Casey and Cora White; her brother Peter McGaha; her grandchildren, Kashonda Maynor, Toria Chambliss, Donti Elder, Tiffany Dowing and Shareif Fair; her great grandchildren, Shaniya, Twyquan, Nor'mani, Donti Jr., Jayden, I, Lynn, Za'Kari and Tyson; and her nieces, Eloise Jackson (Tickey) and Cajgie Dickey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
