It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Saxenian of Syracuse, New York, born in Farrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Costa Yovonovich and Elena Yovonovich; her husband Ara; her siblings, James and Sophie McPhail (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Saxenian, Angel Gozigian (Karl), Gene Pyle, Stephen Saxenian (Mary) and Diran Saxenian (Grace).
She is survived by: her sister Marge; her aunt Marge; her children, Gary (Carin) of Camillus, Nancy Emmons (Tom) of Auburn, WA, James (Kim) of McLean, VA and Linda Kelley (Marty) of Syracuse; her sisters, Rose Pyle of Fort Wayne, IN and Margaret Karafilopulos (Gus) of Syracuse; her granddaughters, Jennifer, Ava, Ashley and Brooke; and her stepgrandsons, Sam and Joe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
