He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Smith and Kathryn Smith (Anklin); and his brothers, William B. Smith, Jr. (Ann), John Howard Smith and Neil Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Scofield; his daughter Brenda Goff (Geoff); his grandsons, Peter, Geoffrey, Matthew and Marc Goff; his great grandchild Layla Goff; his brother Ronald Smith (Roseanne); his sister-in-law Cheryl Smith; and his half-sister Gail Youness. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
