He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Melchior and Jane Melchior; and his siblings, Linda, Donna and Jacob.

He is survived by: his wife April Waggoner; his sons, Charles A. Melchior Jr., Nicholas, Jason, Sebastian, Austin and Dakota; and his siblings, Jane, Millicent, Debbie, Joseph and James. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
