She is survived by: her husband Sterling "Shep" Emerson; her children, Brenda Wilson (Randy) of West End, NC, Richard "Rick" Garrett (Jodi) of Marietta, NY and James "Jamie" Garrett (Nicole) of Mannsville, NY; her grandchildren, Jessica Place, Lauren Place, James Garrett (JR) and Quinn Wilson; and her siblings, Marilyn Lear, Charles, Thomas and Lynn Waltimire.
