He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tillman and Maxine White Tyler; and his siblings, Magaline Williams Benjamin and Roy Harper. He is survived by: his wife Rose Tillman; his sons, Nikia Hooper (Rhonda), Carnell Tillman, Jr. (Princess) and Clarence Tillman; his stepchildren, Odell Rice, Johnny Rice, Darlene Ragland and Gloria Blatche; his grandchildren, Summer Hooper, Autumn Hooper, Clarence Tillman, Jr. and Khaleel Tillman; his siblings, Leroy Tyler, Mary Snow, Catherine Harley, Nora Bradley (David) and Angela Tyler; his nieces and nephews, Santonio Tyler, Sr., Hassan Tyler (Tessa), Maurice Fields, Shonell Rogers Savoy (Keith), Angel Phynon and Tyneshia Fields; his cousin David White; and his friend Donna Milton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
