He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Hines and Elise Hines. He is survived by: his children, Santana Knighton, Alex Hines and Corigneis Hines; his grandson Alex Hines, Jr.; his sisters, Mary, Lila, Sharon, Charlene and Katrina; his stepsister Sophia; and also, Charlene Davis, Dale and Evandar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
