Brittany Nicole Smart Obituary

As the father of Brittany Nicole Smart I, myself as well as Brittany’s Mom would like to thank you for your prayers, blessings, condolences, and concerns regarding Brittany.

Brittany is survived by her mother Dawn Marie Smart born in Syracuse, New York, and her father Don-Miguel Cummings born in Buffalo, New York. Brittany was born to us in the early morning hours of September 17, 1992. Her brothers are Allen Broadwater aka Duke, Raysean Broadwater, Jaquan Stewart who also passed in November, Johnathan Stackhouse, Terron Gathings, and José Balaguer. Her sisters are Lynneisha Watson Cummings, Donazia Moñe Cummings, Victoria Luhr, Angelina Patterson, Keyonda Cummings, Keyona Cummings, Gabriella (Gabby) Guiles, Maria Balaguer. Her grandparents James Edward Cummings, Pennie Lorraine Cummings, Linda Klotz, her uncles James R Cummings JR of Utica, NY Ashuhn Cummings, Denard Cummings of Utica, NY her aunts Georgina Osborne, Rustylynn Parkhurst, Nina Cummings, Nicole L Cummings, and Jacinta Cummings. Brittany's other family members are included in our prayers.

Brittany was a caring and loving child. She was compassionate and over numerous times displayed selfless acts of compassion, understanding, and a love for others. She acquired these traits from a loving mother who taught Brittany how to become a loving and self-respecting parent and an Angel woman who has always displayed courage, dignity, self-respect, and perfection. Her mother was always there to guide, love, counsel, and advise Brittany on how to make the best and most mature decisions in the most trying of times. From her father, she acquired the traits of a hard worker and leader. She also learned the traits of self-discipline and self-respect.

Brittany was a perfect mother to her son whom she loved. She idolized the ground he walked on. Our daughter will be missed for her amazing heart and love for others. Brittany Nicole Smart is the best daughter a parent could not be more proud of. I wish I could have heard your silent cry for someone to console you. I am so sorry baby that I did not see your pains and ease your stress. We Dawn Marie Smart and Don-Miguel Cummings will cherish every memory and love you dearly in our hearts and you will never be etched from our hearts minds, hearts, and souls. Your memory will be cherished and loved. We will pray every day that God will guide you in the afterlife until we are reunited. Save a place in heaven for us.
