He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Helen Tigner; his son Robert Tigner; and his mother Mary Frances Tigner. He is survived by: his children, Senta Tigner-Nelson (Michael) and Dejuan Tigner (Lucrettia); and his siblings, Barbara Brewer (Darryl), Charles Yancey and Danny Veach (Maxine). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
