She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Mae Harris and Herbert Harris; her brothers, James and Herbert Harris of Fort Pierce, Florida; and her partner Lonnie Murray.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lissie McMillian (Henry), Lucius Harris and Martha Turner of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son Anthony Chavis; her granddaughters, Sandra Chavis, Tylerrose Chavis of Syracuse and Kylenn White; her daughter-in-law Sandy Chavis of Syracuse; her aunt Shirley; and her uncle Edward Atkins of Fort Pierce, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
