He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Sims, Susan Sims of Syracuse and Jeffrey; his siblings, Robert, Richard and Carol Porter; his grandchildren, Anna Abbott (Sean), Benjamin, Noah and Victoria Sims; and his great grandchild Theodore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
