She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Checksfield Sr.; her children, Scott Allen Checksfield, Thomas Checksfield Jr. and Terry Checksfield; and her brothers, Richard Coomey (Sis) and Danny Coomey (Nancy).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Wayne Checksfield and Heather Fuller (Norm); her nephew Mark Coomey (Tammy); and her niece Yvette Scott (David).
