He was predeceased by: his wife Heather McAster (Hunter). He is survived by: his children, Katrina McAster of Syracuse, Miranda Rice (Rob) of Syracuse and Derrick McAster of Syracuse. He is also survived by four sisters and two brothers; eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
