He was predeceased by: his father Arthur; his stepfather Jack; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Jennifer Sholly (Derek) of Warners and Heather Tickner of Syracuse; his grandson Derek Tickner of Syracuse; his mother Elizabeth Tickner Brolan; and his siblings, Judith Bombardo (Floyd) of Cleveland, NY, Cynthia Hooven (Bill), William Tickner (Jean) of Brewerton and Martin Tickner of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
