He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Merluzzi and Teresa Merluzzi (Bersani); and his siblings, Rita Merluzzi, Susie Merluzzi, Gina Merluzzi, Mary Bombard, Anna Leo, Margaret Massaro, Paul, Alexander and Armond Merluzzi.
He is survived by: his brother Alfred "Fritzie" Merluzzi; his caregiver Deborah Wade; his son Anthony Merluzzi (Carolina); his grandchildren, Timothy Merluzzi (Tina), Philip Merluzzi and Dianna Little; and his great grandchild Sophia Merluzzi Little (Hannah). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church Building Fund.
