He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Matrone and Alphonse Matrone; and his brothers, John and Robert Matrone. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Cali-Matrone; his children, Michael Matrone and Marnie Matrone Scherer; his grandchildren, Logan and Madelon Scherer; his sons-in-law, Brian Scherer and Guido Ortenzio; and his sister Fran Matrone Rice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
