She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Dale and Elizabeth Dale; and her brother Dr. Robert Dale. She is survived by: her husband Jon; and her children, Kimberly (Douglas Knarr), Kirsten (Ray Roostaeyan) and Jonathan (Sarah). She is also survived by six grandchildren.

In San Francisco, Ann served as co-chair of the Social Justice Committee at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church and volunteered with the St. Anthony Foundation, serving meals for the homeless and needy.
