He was predeceased by: his father John Cannata; and his sister Grace Felicia. He is survived by: his wife Rosita E. "Zita" Cannata (Andoloro); his children, John Cannata (Kelly), Karen LaRocca (Phil) and Doreen Cannata; his grandchildren, Arianna Cannata (Jacob), Joshua Cannata, Nicholas Cannata and Paul Cannata; his stepgrandchildren, Keight and Justin; his nephew John Felicia (Denise); his niece Rosanne Smith (Tim); and his great-grandcanines, Hunter and Manny.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of Pompei St. Peter Church.
