He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene and Alberta; and his sister Kathleen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Leslie Hereba (Mohammed) and Meghan Finebloom (Darren); his stepchildren, Michael Evans (Lilly) and Jessica Bray (Hollie Fallstone); his grandchildren, Lucas, Theodore, Kaitlyn, Elias, Augustus, Mariah and Mila; and his siblings, Thomas Shaffer (Susan), Karen Greenstone (Rob) and Patrick Shaffer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
