With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jong Gwon Kim (Syosset, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jong Gwon has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sook Hee Kim; his grandchildren, William and Elizabeth Lee; his siblings, Dr. Sung Gwon Kim (Mi Young Park), Kyung Ja Kim (Young Bae Suh) and U. G. Kim; and his children, Janny Hyun-Jeung (Benjamin Lee) and Michael Ju-Hyung. He was also cherished by father, and grandfather.
