He was predeceased by: his son Fred Erichsen (Susan). He is survived by: his wife Alma; his children, Ingrid Swilling, Maren Browne (Robert) and Heidi Rochford (James); his grandchildren, Kevin, David, Jason, Greta, Annika, Brian, John, Patrick, Thomas and Elizabeth; and his brothers, Erich, Karl, Herbert and Paul.

In Fritz's memory the family will be donating a bench/plaque and landscaping to the Northport Golf Course.
