Joseph D. Metzger Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. Metzger Jr. of Sylvan Beach, New York, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Metzger and Sara Metzger (Rogers); his sisters, Judy Tibbits and Jill Wheeler; and the mother of his children Sondra Armstrong-Fortier.
He is survived by: his children, Lauri (Douglas Wampler), Renee Fellone of Chadwicks, N. Y. and Joseph III (Sue Metzger); and his close friend Lois A. Clark. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
